In what is somewhat of a reversal of roles, a personal injury attorney is facing personal injury charges for punching two men in State Street area bars in Wisconsin.
Mr.Jonathan G. Evenson, 34, is a Madison attorney who specializes in personal injury cases.
The two events took place in different bars at different times; the first at Paul's Club on December 20 and the second incident occurring on April 24th at the Kollege Klub. In both cases, Mr. Evenson was reported to have punched the other men repeatedly until he was restrained by others. The victim of the assault in Kollege Klub required stitches and needed plastic surgery.
At the initial hearing on Monday he was ordered not to consume alcohol and was banned from the State Street area except for work related matters. He is free on a signature bond.
