Joe Jackson, father of the legendary singer Michael jackson, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against his son's doctor, Dr.Conrad Murray.
The lawsuit was filed on the first anniversary of the pop star's death, just in time to stay within the one year limit allowed for filing such a lawsuit.
In the suit, Mr. Jackson claims that Dr. Murray gave his son a powerful drug (the anaesthetic propofol) and of being slow in calling for medical help for the singer.
Dr. Murray has already been charged by Californian authorities with involuntary manslaughter and faces up to 4 years in prison if convicted.
