Florida treatment Center faces Wrongful Death Lawsuit

When Sharon Bronowicz was found dead, it was assumed it was first assumed to be a suicide. Then it was thought to be an accidental drowning. However, not it is now being seen as a death that was entirely preventable.

'New Horizons of the Treasure Coast' residential treatment center, located in Fort Pierce, South Florida is now facing a wrongful death claim as a result of Ms.Bronowicz's death. Her family claim that her death, which occurred less than two weeks before her release from being treated for depression.

Ms. Bronowicz was found drowned at the facility. Her daughter, Renee Hill, later discovered that her mother had been locked into the bathroom,alone for 45 minutes.

Before the tragic accident, there were signs that Ms. Bronowicz was noted as becoming increasingly disturbed; at one point she had been found lying on the floor, crying for hours and asking for help.

Ms. Bronowicz daughter believes that had the staff at the treatment center paid more attention to these warning signs, her mothers death could be avoided.
