Chicago Club sued for wrongful death over death of 17 year old

The family of a 17 year old, mexican teenager who was shot in the back and killed at a club in Chicago have launched a wrongful death lawsuit against the club.

The boy, Ramiro Guevara, has used a fake I.D. to get into the club was shot in the back after he had gotten involved in a fight on the night of October 15th.

In the suit, Ramiro's family claim that the staff and security at the club, V-Live, were “failed to provide metal detectors to insure the safety of its guests.”

The case also names Firm Real Estate Group LLC and Valiente Security Consultants LLC as defendants in the case.

The amount of damages the family are seeking is unspecified.
