Personal Injury
While this isn't the most pleasant personal injury case to read before lunch it does show the extent of cases and circumstances that personal injury law can cover!
A 21 year old Philadelphia Phillies fan, Matthew Clemmens, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to purposefully forcing himself to vomit on a man, Mr. vangelo, and his 15 year old daughter who were in the seats of the 21 year old fan during the Phillies-Capitols game on Tuesday night.
Matthew had been at the game with a friend and the two became increasingly inebriated throughout the course of the game and became more obnoxious, louder and vulgar.
Mr.Vangelo and his daughter asked Mr. Clemmens and his friend to calm down and stop swearing so much but this only fuelled the fire.
Mr.Clemmens friend was then escorted from the stadium. Mr.Clemmens then felt it was his duty to get even with the innocent family and forced himself to vomit upon them.He then punched Mr.Vangelo repeatedly before being restrained by other fans and ejected from the stadium by security.
In court, Mr.Clemmens pleaded guilty to charges of assault, disorderly conduct and harassment charges in order to be released from the reckless endangerment and corruption of minors.
This was satisfactory for the Vangelo's and they plan to attend Mr.Clemmens sentencing on July 30th to see that he gets the punishment he deserves.
